| I have had a few of these over the years and this is, by far, the best. While they claim 13 hours battery time it is more like 9 hours but still the longest out there. Outstanding screen-picture, much better than expected. Lightweight-great for travel on long car or plane trips. Highly-highly recommend this product to anyone! |

If you are looking for a nice DVD player for your kids this is the one. The travel/car kit that comes with this unit is a plus. It came with a storage bag and a head rest mount for the DVD player. If you were to purchase the items in the travel/car kit separately they would cost you $20 each. I took a car trip with my two year old son and he watched his DVDs for about 5-1/2 hours on battery before I had to plug in the power adapter. Buy the LS865 instead of the LS86, because of the free Travel/Car Kit. I'm so happy with this buy!

| I ordered this for use in Iraq. It was one of the few dual voltage models I could find anywhere. It has worked flawlessly. It remembers were your movie was if you turn it off. It feels very solid as well. The battery seems to last a real long time although I have not tried to reach the 13 hour claim. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to a friend. |

| I looked into buying an extra battery along with a new portable DVD player for my 10 yr old for a long trip we were taking. Turned out an extra battery cost (would you believe) almost as much as a cheap DVD player. Did tons of research & thanks to reviews by previous buyers found this portable DVD player. Although its' price is mid range in the long run it is WELL WORTH the extra money. It has the longest battery life of ANY portable DVD player. On our very long trip it never ran out of juice. LOVE IT! |
